“Buddhism of Great Saint Nichiren”

This photo was taken from Amou-ga-hara-field, just before Mount Fuji.
It is the place that we should build the National Altar in accordance with Great Saint Nichiren’s will.

Who is Great Saint Nichiren?

Great Saint Nichiren is the one and only True Buddha who will save all humanity in the Latter Day of the Law, both in this life and the next, through the fundamental Buddhist teachings known as the Three Great Secret Laws.
The Latter Day of the Law refers to the period from 2,000 years after the death of Gautama Buddha. Gautama Buddha made two important predictions about this Latter Day of the Law.
One of them is the sutra passage, "Fighting is strong and conflict is strong, and the white law is hidden." In other words, in the Latter Day of the Law, people's hearts will become hardened and great wars will continue, and at this time the Buddhist teachings of Gautama Buddha will lose their power to save people.
The other is that in this Latter Day of the Law, the Original Buddha, the origin of all the Buddhas of the three worlds and ten directions, will appear and save all of humanity from destruction. This is predicted in the "Divine Power" chapter of the Lotus Sutra: "Just as the light of the sun and moon can dispel all shadows, so by practicing this in the human world, we can destroy the darkness of all living beings."
Great Saint Nichiren is indeed the original Buddha of all Buddhas, the "久遠元初の自受用身(The state of Buddhahood, which exists from the eternal source, accepts and uses the law (truth) oneself, and lives freely)," who appeared in Japan in the Latter Day of the Law in light of this prophetic proof. The Buddhism of Great Saint Nichiren saves people and nations from the very core.
For individuals, Great Saint Nichiren can make ordinary people into Buddhas. In other words, if one believes in the "本門戒壇の大御本尊(The Central Principal Image)," which Great Saint Nichiren placed in place with great compassion, and chants Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, anyone can attain Buddhahood within their lifetime.
Furthermore, if all Japanese people believe in the "本門戒壇の大御本尊(The Central Principal Image)," chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo, and build a National Altar in accordance with the instructions of the Buddha, Japan will then become a Buddhist nation, all disasters will disappear, and true national security will be achieved. This is the Establishment of Righteousness and Peace in the Nation.

The purpose of life is to attain enlightenment.

Living without knowing the purpose of life is like being on a bus with an unknown destination. However, people are unaware of this important fact, and are simply drawn to immediate desires, leading to meaningless lives and ending their lives in vain. There's no way you can live a confident life like this.
The purpose of life is indeed to attain "Buddhahood," which is the ultimate state of happiness that transcends birth and death and is eternally unshakable. By practicing Great Saint Nichiren's Buddhism, anyone can change their destiny, find happiness in this life, show signs of enlightenment at the moment of death, and enjoy great comfort in the afterlife. This is the realm of enlightenment.
Some people may say, "I don't know what happens after death." However, Buddhism is not empty theory or empty speculation. Everything is discussed with evidence. That evidence is the signs of death.

There are good and bad signs of death.

Death is the final reckoning of a person's life, and the signs of death reveal the karma (results and rewards) that a person will receive in the future life. This is why death is the most important moment in life.
Therefore, Great Saint Nichiren said, "Human life is impermanent.・・・・ Therefore, we must first learn about death and then learn about other matters." (Reply to Myoho-ama-gozen)
So, what are the signs of falling into hell or attaining Buddhahood?
Great Saint Nichiren said, “At the time of death, those who fall into hell turn black and their bodies are as heavy as a thousand-pound stone. A good person, even a woman seven or eight feet tall, may have dark skin, but at the time of death her skin turns white and her body is as light as goose feathers and as soft as cotton wool.”(Reply to Sennichi-ama-gozen)
As this saying goes, after death, the bodies of those who fall into hell turn black and heavy, and take on a frightening appearance. On the other hand, those who attain Buddhahood will have their bodies turn white after death, and will have a light, soft, and gentle appearance.
Furthermore, in the Shinkoku-King-Text, Great Saint Nichiren states, "It is established in the sacred teachings of the Buddha's lifetime that after death, those with dark skin will fall into hell."
People in the world are unaware of this important evidence. If they knew, their outlook on life would surely change.
The appearance of death is beyond the control of human will. This law of cause and effect is fully explained only by the Buddhism of Great Saint Nichiren. Happiness that comes from status, wealth, or power quickly crumbles. The only happiness that will remain eternally, in this life and in the next, is the state of Buddhahood.
Great Saint Nichiren is indeed the original Buddha of great compassion who turns us ordinary people into Buddhas.
